Adam moved to the West Coast of Canada when he was young, and pursued interests in baseball, soccer, and mountain biking, before shifting gears to focus on acting, writing, and entertainment. He has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 15 years (ever since 3.5), and is a founding member of the It’s A Mimic! podcast. He is the lead writer, co-director, executive producer, head editor, and owner of It's A Mimic! But honestly, he keeps the podcast going because it's a great excuse to spend time with his friends.

Brad McMann

Brad (also known as Mayle Slave Brad on the podcast) was born and raised in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, and has embraced the church since he was young. He is a loving husband and a proud father of two, and yet somehow still finds the time for the occasional video game. (We suspect this is due to dark chronomancy of some kind.) He has over 7 years of experience with D&D, and was the first ever guest star on It’s A Mimic!, before becoming a full member of the cast and an integral member of the editing team.

Charlie the Rogue

Charlie is an artist, a crafter, and a punk, with a love of music, anime, and melodramatic media. He has been playing D&D for almost a decade and prefers Druids, Rogues, and Sorcerers. Although he can be mechanically focused most of the time, he prefers roleplaying, difficult character decisions, and injecting chaos into other people's schemes. He is close with Megan, Kasi, Miaca, Sean, and Dan, but he is like family with Dave and Adam. His strong opinions support his immovable moral compass, despite his often relaxed and chill attitude. Charlie is the first one to help a friend, sit on the floor at a party, and throw popcorn during a movie marathon.

Coffee Bitch Dave

Dave shrugged off the stench of Ontario when he was young, and has been exploring the wilds of the Canadian Rockies ever since. He is a proficient hunter, off-road enthusiast, radio operator, and aficionado of professional sports (NFL, NHL, Formula 1, and MLB, specifically). He has honed his skills in orienteering, archery, canoeing, cooking over open flame, rope craft, and delivering coffee like a good bitch. While Dave has known Dan and Adam for over 30 years, he finally succumbed to Dan’s will in his early 20’s and started playing D&D 3.5. He is the resident expert on Eberron and Theros, and has been one of the most thorough researchers on the It’s A Mimic! podcast since he finally got in front of the mic near the end of the first year. His work on Touring the Multiverse has been praised by many listeners.

Ehlwyn (Ellie for Short)

In the enchanting realm of the Canadian Westcoast, there lived a girl named Ellie. Born amidst the ancient forests and rugged mountains, she often ventured into the heart of the wilderness, seeking inspiration from the beauty and mysteries of the West Coast and bonding with woodland creatures (her much-preferred companions over humans). As she grew, it became evident that she had an extraordinary passion for the fantastical worlds of fiction. Throughout her life, Ellie fostered her love for TTRPGs and board games, forging friendships and bonds with like-minded souls who shared her passion. With each roll of the dice and every stroke of a paintbrush on her meticulously crafted miniatures, she delves deeper into a world of endless possibilities... You can find her primarily in the Undead series on the public It's A Mimic! channels.

Kasi Just Kasi

Kasi grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, on a large property, and spent her childhood either biking and building tree houses in the summer, or ski-dooing and building snow forts in the harsh Canadian winters. She moved out west as a young adult and has continued to embrace the scenic landscapes of western Canada. Despite her time outdoors, she considers herself a nerd in all aspects, from her love of Tolkien and Star Wars, to her talent with the piano and electric violin, to her painting of D&D miniatures, to her BSc in Microbiology. She’s been an avid Dungeons & Dragons player for 8 years, and has been playing with Adam longer than anyone. She is featured in the Giants and Undead series, and is responsible for the website design and maintenance.

Kyle McQuaid

Rumour has it that Kyle was raised in the Canadian Rocky Mountains by a pack of wolves. This is in direct conflict with his claims that he invented the cotton gin and circumnavigated the globe in a hot air balloon, although the truth likely lies somewhere between the two. He has a love for reading, writing, cooking, music, camping, crushing his enemies, seeing said enemies driven before him, and hearing the lamentations of their women. He’s very approachable. Kyle has been dabbling with D&D for over 23 years, and joined the cast and crew of the It’s A Mimic! podcast, as a knowledgeable and feared host, as well as a member of the editing team.

Megan Lengle

Megan is totally not a tyrannical psychopath, and is definitely not holding a knife to my throat as I type this. She hails from the mysterious West Coast of Canada, and has spent her life honing a wide variety of skills and interests (jill of all trades; master of none), most notably as a professional artist, an amateur martial artist (karate), a skilled gamer, and an up-and-coming despotic warlord probably. She has been in love with Dungeons & Dragons since she discovered it in 2010, and has been a featured host on It’s A Mimic! since the end of its first year. Recently, she has stepped up to be the artist of new logos and original art for It's A Mimic!

Miaca Nason

Miaca (no relation to Jeff or Terry) was born and raised in Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Masters Degree in Learning Design. She is a writer at heart, and has a passion for storytelling, developing characters, and cosplaying. Her first experience with a TTRPG was during the recording of The Deep Dark of Radiance (Call of Cthulhu 7e), but she began playing D&D 5e shortly thereafter and has since appeared occasionally on the It’s A Mimic! podcast. Miaca and Adam got engaged in July 2022, and it has been a battle of wills ever since. According to Miaca, she is winning. According to Adam, she is winning.

Pepperina Sparklegem

Pepperina (aka, Instagram’s Mother of Dragons) has lived in Ohio all her life, where she has chaotically dabbled with everything from hunting and archery to acting and drama. She’s an award winning baker, a talented painter of miniatures, and a great mom to two great kids. She started playing D&D in 2018, but has been featured on a number online actual plays and has an active following of nerds. She graduated from listener to cohost on It’s A Mimic! when she volunteered to help out during the many, many Mob Mentality episodes. These days, she helms the Dragon-focused episodes and is an integral part of the Undead series.

Sean O’Coin

Sean grew up on the West Coast of Canada after fleeing from Alberta with Dan. He was never a sporty kid, but loved being outside, making music, acting, camping, reading, and eating far too much cake. Holed up in a dark room with way too many caffeinated beverages, he started playing D&D with Adam one fateful night, and has never looked backed since. Now he’s a professional nerd that stares at terminals all day, hoping to make it to retirement before Coffee Bitch Dave murders him with an axe. A father, a husband, a brother, and a friend, he’s a pretty upstanding guy. Mostly.

Stephen Golding

Stephen has grown up in the wild and untamed lands of British Columbia for his entire life. Of course, he doesn't know anything about them being wild or untamed because he spends his every waking moment indoors with the widest assortment of geeky activites. Driven by his passion for storytelling, he'll jump into anything with a plot (for better or worse). So it's no surprise that he's been collaboratively telling stories through various RPGs with people across the tabletop for the better part of the last two decades. Now, as one of the new members of It's A Mimic, he lends his voice to episodes both literally and through the editing process. He's also upsettingly tall.

Terry Williams

Terry (no relation to either Miaca or Jeff) was born in Northern Ireland to English parents and was raised on the northeast coast of England. He has travelled extensively (finally landing permanently in Vancouver, Canada) and tries to take advantage of most opportunities that are presented to him (when he isn’t working out, playing with his dog, enjoying the outdoors, or embracing his hobbies). He discovered Dungeons & Dragons 8 years ago, and is a founding member of the It’s A Mimic! podcast.

Tyler Gibson

Tyler is a proud British Columbian, father of four, and old-school gamer. When he isn’t focusing on family, he spends his free time enjoying music, gaming (both video and board), and hanging out with his wife. He’s been playing Dungeons & Dragons for 19+ years, through multiple editions, and joined the It’s A Mimic! podcast at the end of its second year. He is the current musical director for the podcast and writes most of the music used in episodes. He is also featured on a number of episodes as a host, and is one of the main editors.

Dan was born in Alberta, but has spent most of his life making the Vancouver area a better place. He is a small business owner and doting family man who has a background in the restaurant and construction industries, as well as a passion for carpentry. Besides spending time with his family, he loves to pass the days by cooking, playing music, wandering the Canadian wilderness, and engaging in both video games and board games. He has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for most of his life and has explored many editions of the game, as well as a fair number of other TTRPG’s.

James Sealy

James grew up in his hometown of Calgary, and moved to the Vancouver area as a young adult. He has a plethora of hobbies (often becoming proficient in one before moving on to another) but his love for reading is always strong. He considers himself to be a jack of all trades and has solid knowledge of a plethora of topics. He has been playing D&D for 7 years, and joined It’s A Mimic! during the pandemic, when the podcast shifted gears to focus on Mob Monsters. James was one of the two people responsible for getting the YouTube channel up and running, and bringing the podcast to a wider audience.

Jeff Williams

Jeff (no relation to Terry or Miaca) is originally from Massachusetts, but has lived in a number of cities in the American north east. He is a father of three, is an unapologetic punk, and has a professional background in mechanical insulation and pet store retail (the latter of which helped grow his love for Tropical Fishkeeping). He has been rolling dice (although usually online these days) for over 6 years, and was one of the first listeners and fans of the It’s A Mimic! podcast. After some hilarious and outright disturbing flirting with the original hosts for a couple of years, Jeff was finally added to the regular cast during the pandemic. He is a forever DM, and the podcast’s resident expert on Barovia and Strahd.
